The seed for Vantage was planted in the water park industry, as its parent company, WhiteWater, sought to find a solution for the challenges and pain points faced by their clients. As the world’s leading water park manufacturer, WhiteWater understands that a park’s success hinges upon more than just iconic water slides, but also on its ability to engage guests and streamline operations. As a trusted partner, focused on results, WhiteWater founded Vantage to pursue this mission.

Our Team

Philip Edgell


With over 20 years of experience in the technology space, Philip honed his skills in some of Vancouver’s best-known companies; with his most recent position at Hootsuite. Philip led the company’s sales operations as their global vice president, helping to drive revenue predictability for the world’s most widely used social media management platform. Prior to joining Hootsuite, he was the executive vice president of operations at Long View Systems.

Aaron Mendelson

Director, Customer Success and Product Innovation

Aaron Mendelson is a proven entertainment leader and innovator with more than 20 years of experience creating and developing unique guest experiences that drive ROI and delight patrons. In January 2019, Aaron began work with Vantage. Aaron’s role at Vantage has allowed him to develop new technologies in the amusement space that have never been explored before.

David Black

Director of Technology

David is an innovative, business-savvy technology director with extensive experience in project management, systems and software engineering, product design and architecture, and real-time/embedded applications development. His proven ability to identify cutting-edge solutions that meet corporate requirements is what makes him an inspirational leader with exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
